The City of Brenham annexed 171.798 acres into the city limits on September 18, 2025.  The newly annexed area consisted of three (3) sections that were contiguous to and/or ran parallel to the current boundaries of the City. The areas annexed were as follows: 

  • Section 2025-01:  Approximately 169.42 acres of land currently owned by Dr. James Brown and Melanie Brown Breneman.  This property will be purchased and developed by Stylecraft Homes for an expansion to the current Vintage Farms Subdivision and being further described as 169.42 acres, part of the James Brown, et al property called 219.28 acres (Tract One), 52.458 acres (Tract Two), Volume 373, Page 476, Deed Records of Washington County, Texas, and part of the called 90.00 acres, Volume 375, Page 333, Deed Records of Washington County, Texas, part of the Phillip Coe Survey, A-31, Washington County, Texas.
  • Section 2025-02: Approximately 0.778 areas of land currently owned by Dwayne Ray McGee and Lu Ann Gourley.  This property will be purchased and developed by Stylecraft Homes for an expansion to the current Vintage Farms Subdivision and being further described as 0.778 acre, being a strip of land approximately 16 feet to 26 feet wide and 1,650 feet long, being part of the Dwayne Ray McGee and Lou Ann Gourley tract called 12.866 acres, Volume 1765, Page 518, Official Records of Washington County, Texas, part of the Phillip Coe Survey, A-31, Washington County, Texas.
  • Section 2025-03: Approximately 1.5 acres of land being a strip of land approximately 40 feet wide and 1,650 feet long, being a portion of Dixie Road and further described as 1.50+ acres, being a strip of land approximately 40 feet wide and 1,650 feet long, being a portion of Dixie Road, part of the Phillip Coe Survey, A-31, Washington County, Texas.
