Pet Adoption
The shelter will be closed to the public & volunteers on the following:
May 3rd to attend the Bellville Farmer's Market from 9 am - 6 pm. Come see us for free adoptions and microchips!
May 10th to attend the Paws in the Park event from 10 am - 1 pm at Animal Friends. Come meet your new best friend at the dog park!
May 26th in honor of Memorial Day. We will resume normal hours on Tuesday, May 27th.
As always, please call Washington County Dispatch at 979-277-7373 for immediate Animal Control needs within Brenham city limits.

Our shelter has advanced leaps and bounds in its adoption program. We encourage all potential adopters to visit our shelter to come and meet our furry friends!
Not sure what you're looking for? Our shelter staff has become well acquainted with the animals in our care and can help you find the right match for you and your family. We have play yards available for you to get some one-on-one time with dogs that you are interested in and the Kitten Corral is available for our adoptable cats!
