Adaptive aquatics is designed for our swimmers with special needs. Every week we will get together and work on learning or improving participants' swimming capabilities. We will work together to help everyone reach their goals. Swimming helps promote fitness, mobility, coordination, and range of motion.

Developmental is for individuals that cannot swim 25 yards freestyle on their own.

Advanced is for individuals that can swim at least 25 yards freestyle on their own.

Polar Bear Slide Fundraiser

January 6 | 8:00 am - 11:00 am | Blue Bell Aquatic Center

We know it is cold outside, but slide into 2024 on the Big Yellow Slide and help us raise money for our Brenham Waves Special Olympic Swim Team. Recruit some friends, put on a costume and slide into the leisure pool! Raise a minimum of $60 ($30 if under 18) in donations from friends, family, and co-workers in exchange you will get to take a ride on the Big Yellow Slide and a T-shirt.

Join us as we cheer on our amazing Brenham Waves Special Olympic Swim Team and the other athletes participating in the Area 06 Swim Meet. Watch our Facebook because we will be looking for volunteers to help make this an amazing experience for all these special athletes.
