Campaign Finance Reports
Campaign finance reporting for all City of Brenham candidates is mandated by the Texas Ethics Commission (TEC). In accordance with TEC's rules, an opposed candidate in a municipal election is eligible to report under the modified reporting schedule if they do not intend to accept more than $1,110.00 in political contributions or make more that $1,110.00 in political expenditures in connection with their election. An opposed candidate who reports under the modified schedule is not required to file pre-election reports (due 30 days and 8 days before an election) until they exceed the $1,1100.00 limit.
