Welcome to Brenham Animal Services!
Brenham Animal Services is dedicated to protecting the health, safety, and well-being of both people and animals throughout our community. As part of the City of Brenham’s public health and safety services, we provide animal control field operations within the City of Brenham and shelter services for animals from across Washington County.
Our team cares for lost, stray, abandoned, and surrendered animals while working to reunite pets with their families and connect adoptable animals with loving new homes. We also support responsible pet ownership, promote spaying and neutering, assist with community animal concerns, and work with local partners to improve outcomes for animals in need.
Every animal in our care receives compassionate attention while awaiting their next chapter, and all animals are spayed or neutered before leaving our shelter. Whether we’re responding to a call in the community, helping a lost pet find its way home, or celebrating an adoption, our goal is to create a safer, healthier community for people and pets alike.
