About the Finance Department
The City of Brenham Finance Department is responsible for the City's financial operations. The department provides financial management, accounting, budgeting, cash management, and financial reporting to ensure responsible stewardship of the public funds and compliance with applicable laws and regulations. The Finance Department works to maintain accurate financial records, support the efficient use of resources, and provide financial information that is accessible to the community.

Financial Transparency

The City of Brenham is committed to transparency in government. The City participates in the Texas Comptroller’s Transparency Star Program and provides easy access to key financial information, including multi-year financial data, adopted budgets, quarterly check registers, and annual financial reports.

Payment Terms & Policies
