BPAC is one of the city's public health and safety departments. BPAC provides quality Field Operations and an Adoption Center that provides a temporary home for cats and dogs until they find suitable and permanent new homes.

Adoption $95
Microchipping: $10
Owner Surrender: $25 (by appointment only)
Annual City License:
- Once the rabies vaccine is updated, please visit the shelter for a license.
- If Animal is Altered: $18.00 (Initial Fee, No Fee Thereafter)
- If Animal is Unaltered: $30.00
- Replacement License Tag $1.00
Licensing
The City requires all animals to be vaccinated and licensed annually.
- All Dogs and Cats over four (4) months of age must be licensed.
- City licenses are valid for 1 year (expire on the same date as animals' rabies vaccination).
- Unaltered Pet License: If your pet has not been spayed or neutered, the license and fees must be renewed annually.
- Altered Pet License: Spayed/ neutered pets require an initial license and fee. Annual renewals of the license will be free of charge pending rabies vaccination.
