City of Brenham Announces Quarterly Online Posting of Restaurant and Food Establishment Inspection Scores
The City of Brenham is proud to strengthen its commitment to transparency and public awareness by expanding access to inspection results for restaurants and other food establishments. Beginning this quarter, the City will introduce an easy-to-access online scorecard featuring inspection results for all restaurants and mobile food establishments within Brenham.
As part of the City’s ongoing efforts to promote food safety, the Environmental Health Inspector conducts annual inspections of every fixed food establishment. These inspections play a vital role in supporting local businesses by upholding high standards in food handling, sanitation, and overall public health.
While inspection results have always been available on-site and upon request, the new online scorecard offers a more convenient and user-friendly way for residents to stay informed. Each quarter, the City will publish inspection scores from the previous quarter, along with the dates inspections were conducted.
This initiative reflects the City of Brenham’s dedication to openness, accountability, and fostering a well-informed community, while also celebrating the efforts of local establishments to maintain safe and welcoming environments for all.
