Brenham, TX

City of Brenham customers may have an increase in their most recent gas bill. There are several reasons for the increase:

1. Natural gas market prices for February were 38% higher than in January. In addition, gas consumption for most customers was higher due to colder weather in late January and February. 
2. Gas supply and pipeline transport costs are higher under contracts that went into effect on November 1, 2021.
