BNSF to Begin Railroad Maintenance Monday, May 9, 2022
The City of Brenham has been notified that BNSF has contracted with Lite and Barricade, Inc. to put up traffic control/detours as they make repairs to railroad crossings in Brenham.
On Monday, May 9, 2022, at 7:00 AM, the railroad crossings at 1st Street, 2nd Street, 3rd Street, and College Ave will be closed. On Tuesday, May 10, 2022, at 7:00 AM, they will add the railroad crossing at Jackson Street. All are planned to reopen in the afternoon of Tuesday, May 10.
There are no closures planned for Wednesday the 11th.
On Thursday, May 12, 2022, at 7:00 AM to Friday, May 13, 2022, at 7:00 AM, the railroad crossings at CR34 (All Jersey Rd.) and CR35 (Pleasant Hill Rd.) will be closed.
