City of Brenham Residents Experiencing Unusual Taste and Smell in the Water

The City of Brenham Water Systems staff stated today, October 24, 2022, that residents may experience an unusual taste and/or smell in the water this morning. The water is tested multiple times a day to ensure safety for human consumption. Water System staff suspect that changing temperatures and high weekend winds may have caused “lake turnover” which can impact water taste and smell.
