City of Brenham Promotes Teresa Rosales to  Economic and Community Development Director

The City of Brenham is pleased to announce the promotion of Teresa Rosales to Economic and Community Development Director.  Teresa joined the City in January 2023 and quickly earned the respect of elected officials, business leaders, and longstanding community members through her knowledge and professionalism.

Teresa graduated with a BA and MBA both from California Baptist University, and her experience spans real estate finance and sales, management of a business improvement district, and local government work concentrating on quality-of-life issues, economic development, and utility communications. City Manager, Carolyn Miller, states “Teresa will bring exceptional leadership and experience to this role”.

She will lead in Housing Task Force initiatives, work closely with Development Services on implementing the Comprehensive Plan and be the liaison to the Community Services Council Sub-Committee for non-profit funding.

Rosales states, “I’m excited about the opportunity to get to know local stakeholders who are champions for Brenham and Washington County.  My goal is to begin researching opportunities that ensure we maintain a healthy economy and outstanding quality of life.”
