The City of Brenham announced today, September 5, 2023, that the splash pad in Henderson Park will close on September 6, 2023, for the Fall season. The splash pad is open from April until the end of September. However, due to the continued drought and high daily demand on the water treatment plant, the City will help conserve treated water by ending the season a few weeks early. We appreciate everyone's patience and understanding during these drought conditions.  Dane Rau, Director of Public Works states, “We want to be mindful of the drought conditions we continue to have in our county and to do our part in conserving the best we can.”
