PUBLIC NOTICE OF AVAILABILITY OF DRAFT ENVIRONMENTAL ASSESSMENT

Wild Associates and the City of Brenham have prepared a Draft Environmental Assessment (EA) for public review and comment. The Draft EA analyzes the potential environmental impacts of the proposed Brenham Family Park development at 3110 S. Chappell Hill Street, Brenham, Texas 77833. The proposed development includes a one-mile, 10-feet wide multi-use concrete trail, recreational lakes/detention ponds, wildflower viewing areas, restrooms, parking, security lighting, road extension, a pedestrian bridge, utility infrastructure, and park and program signage.

The City will accept public comments for thirty (30) days from the date of this posting. Upon the expiration of this comment period, the City will review and address the public comments in the Draft EA. The Final Environmental Assessment will be submitted to the National Park Service for their consideration.
