National Night Out 2026: "Party Like It's 1999!"

Local first responders are gearing up for another exciting year of National Night Out!

This is an annual community-building campaign designed to promote police-community partnerships and neighborhood camaraderie. Millions of neighbors across the country join forces with law enforcement agencies, community groups, and local organizations to strengthen relationships and build a true sense of community.

This Year's Theme: "Party Like It's 1999"

We welcome individual neighborhoods to host block parties to get to know your neighbors. The Brenham Police Department will also be hosting a Downtown block party for anyone in the city limits.

Time: 6:00 PM - 8:30 PM
Registration/RSVP Deadline: Sunday, September 27^th, by 11:45 PM

Two Ways to Celebrate

Option 1: Host Your Own Neighborhood Party

We encourage local neighborhoods to host individual block parties so neighbors can get to know one another!

Parties Within Brenham City Limits: Register your neighborhood party online or contact Cpl. Susan Gibbs at (979) 337-7338. (All registered party details will be shared with the Brenham Police & Fire Departments, Washington County Sheriff's Office, and Washington County EMS.)
Parties Outside City Limits (Washington County): Contact Lt. Mark Whidden with the Washington County Sheriff's Office at (979) 353-7705.

Registration Deadline: All neighborhood parties must be registered by Sunday, September 27 at 11:45 PM so first responders can plan their visits!

Option 2: Attend the City-Wide Downtown Block Party

Join us for a central, city-wide celebration open to everyone:

Location: Commerce Street Parking Lot
Time: 6:00 PM - 8:30 PM
Activities: First responder visits, music, and community fun with the same "Party Like It's 1999" theme!
