City of Brenham Economic Development Seeks Community Services Grant Applicants

The City of Brenham Economic Development announced that applications for the Community Services Grant (CSG) Funding period for 2026-2027 are open.

The Brenham City Council formed a Community Services Committee in 1991 to provide grant funding to local organizations that provide community services, promote a public purpose, and serve the public good. The Committee consists of three (3) City Council members, with the Economic and Community Development Director serving as the staff liaison.

Any organization requesting funding must submit an online application to the Economic and Community Development Director by 11:45 p.m. on Saturday, October 31, 2026. While there is no established minimum or maximum grant amount, most successful applicants request money for smaller projects, programs, or recurring overhead expenses. We will notify any organization awarded funds in writing of its award amount. We will send grant award notifications and a check payable to the organization in mid-January 2027.
