The City of Brenham is pleased to announce the promotion of Tammy Murphy to Librarian.  Tammy has served as Interim Librarian two times in the last two years and has continued to provide excellent and valued services to the community.

“I am honored and grateful that the City trusts me to care for and to keep advancing the Nancy Carol Roberts Memorial Library. I'm excited about what's next and look forward to seeing all of you at the library soon,” said Murphy.

Tammy holds a bachelor’s degree in Education from Texas A&M University and retired from BISD after 29 years serving as an educator. She was hired in 2012 and was promoted to Assistant Librarian in 2016.  Her knowledge, experience, dedication, and professionalism are assets to our community and the NCRML.
