Loesch Street Overhead Line Upgrade Project Begins

The City of Brenham has contracted with Techline, LLC for the completion of the Loesch Street Overhead Line Upgrade Project. This project will replace the primary electrical conductor and poles along Loesch Street from Tom Green Street to the dead end of Loesch Street. Customers will be notified regarding any power outages one day in advance as needed.

Construction work begins on December 16, 2025, between 7:00 am and 6:00 pm. Work zones and traffic control will be in place where construction is underway. City staff and contractors will work with residents for access to and from residences throughout this process.

We ask for patience with work crews and work zones as they work to minimize the impact on residents.
