Notice of Meeting to Vote on Tax Rate

Pursuant to Section 26.05(b) of the Texas Property Tax Code, cities are required to post the following statement on the home page of any internet website that is operated by the city:

THE CITY OF BRENHAM ADOPTED A TAX RATE THAT WILL RAISE MORE TAXES FOR MAINTENANCE AND OPERATIONS THAN LAST YEAR’S TAX RATE.

Public meetings on the proposed tax rate will be held on September 3, 2020 at 1:00 pm and September 17, 2020 at 1:00 pm at City Hall, 200 W. Vulcan Street, Brenham, Texas 77833.
