Main Street Brenham Hosts 21st Annual Downtown Scarecrow Extravaganza

Main Street is hosting its 21^st Annual Downtown Scarecrow Extravaganza. There will be $1,400 in cash prizes awarded in the following nine categories:

• Best Overall - $300; Hermann Furniture
• Most Votes - $200; Christy Schlottmann Farmers Insurance
• Judges Choice - $200; KTEX/KWHI
• Best Fall Theme - $125; The Pomegranate/Wired & Inspired
• Most Creative - $125; The Laundry Event Hall
• Most Educational - $125; Kay Robbins REMAX
• Silliest - $125; Jet Set Chocolates
• Cutest - $125; Old 300 Title Brenham
• Honorable Mention - $100; Ant Street Inn

Dates to Remember:

• Online Registration – August 26 through September 13
• Watch for an email with the location of your scarecrow - beginning September 18
• Set-up Scarecrows - begins September 27th  (*MUST be set up by September 30 at 6 pm)
• Voting – October 1 through October 24
• Winners announced - October 29
• Pictures of winners taken - October 30 through November 1
• Pick-up Scarecrows – October 30 through November 4
