Notice of Public Hearing on FY2024-25 Proposed Budget

NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING ON FY2024-25 PROPOSED BUDGET
The City Council for the City of Brenham, Texas, will hold a public hearing to consider the Fiscal Year 2024-2025 Proposed Budget on Thursday, September 5, 2024, at 1:00 P.M. at City Hall, located at 200 W. Vulcan St, Brenham, TX 77833

This budget will raise more total property taxes than last year’s budget by $959,022, which is a 9.42 percent increase, and of that amount $364,048 is tax revenue to be raised from new property added to the tax roll this year.

Copies of the Proposed Budget are available for review at City Hall in the City Secretary’s Office, and on our website here. All citizens are encouraged to attend and express their views.
