City of Brenham to Conduct Utility Pole Attachment Assessments

The City of Brenham has contracted with Spartan Utility Services, LLC, to conduct pole attachment assessments across the city. This proactive initiative is part of the city’s ongoing commitment to maintaining a safe, reliable, and efficient utility infrastructure. The assessments will include field inspections, data collection, and documentation of existing attachments to ensure compliance with all applicable regulations and safety standards.

The work is scheduled in two phases:

• Phase 1: Sunday, May 18 through Friday, May 23, 2025
• Phase 2: Sunday, June 1 through Saturday, June 7, 2025

During these periods, Spartan Utility Services crews will work in various locations throughout the city. Residents and businesses may observe utility personnel near utility poles using specialized equipment and conducting visual inspections. These activities are not expected to result in any electric service interruptions.
