City Personnel Responding to a Power Outage
5/5/23 Update: LCRA states “An issue in an electrical substation caused a brief partial power interruption in parts of Brenham Wednesday. LCRA has not yet determined the cause of the issue and is continuing to investigate. Power in the city remains on.”
City of Brenham Electric crews also responded to investigate our lines and equipment involved in the power outage on Wednesday. At this time we are sharing event data with LCRA.
5/3/23 Update: 2:30 pm - Power has been restored.
The City of Brenham announced today, May 3, 2023, that staff are responding to a power outage on the northwest side of town. At present, approximately 500 residents are without power. Additional information will be released as we have it.
