Brenham Animal Services to Host Free Drive-Thru Pet Clinic October 21

Free rabies vaccinations, microchipping, and spay/neuter assistance vouchers will be available to Washington County residents

Brenham Animal Services will host a Drive-Thru Pet Clinic on Tuesday, October 21, from 3:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. at 1804 Longwood Drive in Brenham. The clinic will provide free rabies vaccinations, free microchipping, and spay/neuter assistance vouchers to help Washington County residents access essential pet services.

Three services will be available during the clinic:

• Free Rabies Vaccinations: Pets must be at least 12 weeks old to receive a rabies vaccination.
• Free Microchipping: Microchips provide pets with permanent identification and can help reunite lost pets with their owners. Pets that are not already microchipped must receive a microchip before they can receive a rabies vaccination.
• Spay/Neuter Assistance Vouchers: Financial assistance will be available to help eligible pet owners with the cost of having their pets spayed or neutered.

Registration and Eligibility

Pre-registration is required and will open October 12. Registration will close October 19 or when all 100 available spots have been filled, whichever comes first. The clinic is open to Washington County residents only and is limited to domestic pets; feral cats are not eligible. Complete a separate registration form for each pet, with a maximum of three pets per household. Clinic capacity is limited to 100 animals.

The registration form will be released October 12.
