The Barnhill Center Announces Summer 2026 Speaker Luncheon Featuring University of Houston Head Football Coach Willie Fritz

BRENHAM, TEXAS — The Barnhill Center is proud to welcome Coach Willie Fritz as the featured speaker for its Summer 2026 Speaker Luncheon on Tuesday, June 9, 2026, beginning at 11:30 a.m. The event will be held in Morriss Hall, located at 106 S. Douglas Street. Tickets are $40 per person, or attendees may 
reserve a premium table of 8 for $420.

Coach Fritz, currently the head football coach at the University of Houston, is known for his remarkable 33-year collegiate head coaching career and his deep Texas ties, including an important early chapter coaching at Blinn College. He has led programs at every level of college football, earning national awards and guiding teams to championship seasons and nationally ranked finishes, including Houston’s 2025 Texas Bowl Championship win over LSU. This event promises an engaging look at leadership, perseverance, and the remarkable coaching journey that shaped Coach Fritz’s career.

The Speaker Series luncheon begins at 11:30 am with doors opening at 11:00 am. Coach Fritz will begin his presentation at 12:00 pm. Tickets are available online, in person at the Box Office (111 West Main Street) or the Visitor Center (115 West Main Street) or over the phone at 979.337.7240.
