City of Brenham Begins Utility Pole Replacement Project

The City of Brenham has contracted with 5 Star Electric, LLC to replace deteriorated utility poles throughout the city and upgrade the electrical line along Old Chappell Hill Road (between Blue Bell Road and Alois Lane). Work began on Monday, August 24, 2026. These improvements are essential to maintaining the safety, reliability, and long-term performance of Brenham’s electrical infrastructure.

Project Details:

• Estimated duration: Approximately one and a half months
• Working hours: 8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.
